Fueling the Future of Cancer Research

More than 17 million people are living with cancer in the United States, and we have made tremendous progress in developing treatments for some of them: The five-year survival rate for prostate cancer has increased by 50% since 1975. In that same time, the five-year survival rates for leukemia and myeloma have doubled. And thanks to advances in immunotherapy, a significantly higher number of patients with Merkel cell carcinoma are surviving longer. Yet these are the exceptions. They must be the rule.
